Meet Dr. Ginger Delafosse

Learn more about the experienced and friendly optometrist and founder of  Evangeline Eye Care in Ville Platte.

Dr. Ginger Delafosse is a lifelong resident of Ville Platte, LA. Dr. Delafosse has been practicing optometry in Ville Platte and surrounding areas since 2010.

Prior to becoming an optometrist she attended Vidrine High School and graduated in 2002. Upon graduation, she attended LSU and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2006. She chose to attend optometry school at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, graduating in 2010.

Dr. Ginger is an active member of AOA and OAL.

When Dr. Ginger is not practicing, she enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing and photography. However her favorite time is spent at home in Vidrine with her family: Husband, Shea, daughter, Iyla, and sons, Beau and Joseph.
